Comment: Educational with regards to the Ballona wetlands, native plants, and the Tongva people who used to inhabit the land. Small, but a truly lovely experience, and you can easily walk down to the sports park thats off of Lincoln.

Comment: Not sure how it gets in the weekend but during a weekday this place is kid friendly. If you don’t have kids this place is great to read a book or just come and meditate or just to take a breather. Good for your mental health with all the natural aromas.

Comment: Good walking paths Medicinal herb garden needs water. Nice explanatory signs -seems every herb is either good for the bowels, sore throat or cough, if not all three.

Comment: Below LMU, the opposite neighborhood is also high end so the park is not dirty. There is also a staff to maintain the security and orderliness of the place. If you want a tour for the history and current info of the park, they will also guide you.

Comment: I loved walking through here. Its a short trail but perfect for a romantic stroll, a learning adventure with your little ones, a quick run, a stroll with the baby to help with nap time, bird watching, and just relaxing. Absolutely love this little gem!

Comment: A great little park filled with interesting bits of information about the history of the location, ecology, native people, language, etc. Kids have a fun time playing on the different pillars, tunnels, etc.It is a good place to relax, pay and learn.

Comment: Nice Place. The place is great. I would like more information teaching about plants, diversity, interaction of the plants and animals mutual dependency in this environment. And history of how it has been cared for and not cared for.In additionnant totally lacked addressing the differences between a salt water estuary and a fresh water one. We stand to be destroying this salt water environment that migratory birds depend on. Corporate developers do t care. They are brutal with an eye to the dollar and none to the future.Keep America Great. Wilderness is important. We are the tip of a pyramid of life. Lose the pyramid, we fall.

Comment: Small hidden park next to the elementary school. It has several installations describing a life of the Tongva, Ballona wetlands wild life, ocean tides and so on.A free parking lot could be found in the opposite side of the school - near the Sports park. There is a tiny trail from the Sports park to Ballona Discovery park along the Bluff Creek, some wild birds could be found there.

Comment: Nice place to learn about the culture and environment LA has mostly destroyed. There are outlets to charge your phone. If you listen to the long audio recordings lying down, you may be quickly watched to see if youre homeless.
