Comment: Beat view of LAI would highly recommend having a reservation and requesting a seat near the edge.The service is top notch.. The Pei Mussels are small and the broth wasnt well seasoned.The Brussel sprouts are very good. The Sea bass is the baked brie was so light and fluffy and the cheese melt was creamy with the brie inside.The service was top tier, the food is soooo goodPerch is so overrated because of the views. Food was alright, they can do much better.

Comment: Nice cute rooftop bar in downtown LA. Hard to find parking I think.Friendly staff at the bottom floor tell you which floor elevator to perch.Didn’t go for food. Went to get drinks on a Friday night 9pm. It was crowded on the top floor.Crowd is mixed. Mostly 30+. Nice ambiance. Music not so loud for dancing and good for conversation.Couches first come first serve.Same as drinks. More of a crowd than a line. Bartender made our drinks nice and strong. Whisky sour was extremely expensive though i think it was like $25 so next time I’ll order from the menu.

Comment: This time we came and got the rib eye and the salmon plate. So good ! Steak always cooked to perfect and so was the salmon flaky skin and salmon just melts in your mouth! Afterwards we went to the roof top had some drinks and enjoyed the view with the live band

Comment: Loved it. They have inside and balcony. The outside is usually busy. By the time we arrived, we were told we have to wait for atleast two and a half hours to take a table in the outside spots. We were told we can take any place in the dinning or bar inside. We decided to go another place. While we were waiting for the lift, a graceful person was there waiting and asked us how our experience was. We told him we didnt experience because we coulnt find spot. He took us back in and gave us a nice one. Their appetizers, main dishes, wine and desserts were amazing. But youve to get ready for the bill.

A friend referred me to Perch and having worked in the DTLA area for a long time, I wanted to see what it was all about.Great views, good drinks, and very good food.The service was great as they kept our glasses full all evening, and empty dishes were picked up quickly.We had the French Onion Soup, Chilean Seabass, and the Bouillaisse, which was very good.To close out the evening, we shared a White Chocolate Bread Pudding with coffee that was very good.The valet was easy to get in and out.

Comment: Full disclosure, I went to the rooftop bar just about the 16th floor. The 16th floor has the restaurant, Perch, which I advise that you try to get a reservation for beforehand.I had gone to Pershing Square to meet up with somebody, but they never showed. I started wandering around aimlessly, because half the fun of Los Angeles is just getting lost in finding new things.And behold, I look up and see Perch. As Im examining the sign, a gentleman sitting outside of the building and obviously part of the staff said to me, check it out. You should really check it out. I wish I had gotten that mans name because he might have been my guardian angel.I walk inside and on the bottom floor are two fish tanks with a bunch of clown fish. I then go into the elevator and start speaking with a gentleman who later identified himself as Jay. He explained that the 16th floor rooftop bar was really the best place to be. Especially since I hadnt made reservations or anything and wasnt in the mood for an expensive meal.I ended up getting a drink called my fair lady for about $18 with a good tip (always tip well!). The view was well worth the price of the drink, and the bartender was kind enough to make it strong enough that I felt the effect without being so strong that I couldnt tell which hand was left or right.The views are incredible, especially if youre a sucker for architecture and history like I am. You truly have a birds eye view of Pershing Square in the surrounding rooftops, and it just made me realize how incredibly vivacious all of Los Angeless. It seems like every single rooftop has something going on, and I never would have known had it not been for this random discovery.Mr. Jay, and Mr. Mario were both very helpful, and I still wish I had gotten the other gentlemans name.Everyone was very polite, staff was very attentive and helpful.

Comment: I love everything about this restaurant. We celebrated a friend’s birthday and it was perfect! The food is absolutely delicious, the ambiance is amazing and the drinks are flowing. The views are incomparable so make sure to reserve a spot outside on the deck. They had live music on a Friday night which just added to the whole vibe. Note: we did visit the lounge upstairs for a little while but I probably wouldn’t go back unless we had a bigger group and a reserved table. There really isn’t much seating otherwise. But it overall was a great time.

Comment: Ive been coming here on and off throughout the last 4 years. Ive never been disappointed. The view is truly the main reason I visit and bring friends/family. Service is always great, staff are kind and quick. Food is a solid 3/5 for me. You can find better food around the corner. But again, the view of DTLA is worth it. We loved the braised pork belly which was tender, perfectly seasoned and the sauce complimented it well and the sea bass which was buttery and melts in your mouth!! The coco de noir drink was mixed very well with the perfect balance of alcohol. the baked brie was so light and fluffy and the cheese melt was creamy with the brie inside. The service was top tier, the food was soooo good that I had to go back before I left for the airport to get the Sea bass again! The roof top is gorgeous where you can get drinks and a beautiful surrounding view of downtown LA. and overall its a very classy and great place!

Comment: The steak frites was pretty good. Came with thin and crunchy truffle fries, medium rare steak, and bbq sauce. They ask you how you like your steak so it is customizable. For the starter I chose the baked brie. It was okay, crispy baked bread with cheese on the inside. The bake brie also came with a side of fermented vegetables but was not a fan of it. For dessert I had the creme brulee. The custard was pretty good. Only complaint was the sugar on top was thick and hard. If the custard was warmer maybe it couldve melt and mix easier?

Luckily, a different person saw me trying to get the waiters attention, and she took our drink orders. Overall, it is very good service. Drinks were phenomenal. Downstairs, we were seated before we ordered at the bar. We had only waited about 5 minutes at the bar prior to going to our table. The rooftop bar line was very long, likely due to a special event that occupied one third if the rooftop and one of the 2 bartenders. Lots of groups who hadnt eaten at Pearch were saving all the seats on the rooftop while others went to the bar line. Its understandable but frustrating after a while, so we left after we finished our after dinner drinks.

Comment: Quality food and open view.This is a classy and elegant restaurant. However, I still see a lot of family with many kids climbing on the couch and playing. The food was certainly delicious and special, but it is not for a family meal time, but rather an elegant dating and special occasions. The view was open and plenty of fresh air. However, in the daytime, you will see a lot of rooftops, and some of them, are not very appealing. Only at night time, at certain corners and location, you will see the beautiful skyline and lights, which was rather breath taking and amazing!Again, this is a high end and classy French restaurant, so come here to enjoy a night to remember.

Comment: I’ve come to Perch for brunch on the weekend three times now, and I’ve enjoyed my experiences at there. It definitely feels exciting to go up a private elevator to reach the rooftop where the restaurant is located. The views are undeniably breathtaking from the rooftop, but unless you get lucky enough to be on a table near the edge (only happened once for me), it doesn’t feel quite as immersive. The food is quite good, but in my opinion it isn’t anything extraordinary that warrants the high price tag. You’re really paying a premium for the experience of eating on the rooftop (which is fine, but just know what to expect). The steak frites is pretty good, with the truffle fries cheese fries being more memorable than the steak itself - those fries are incredible, whereas the steak is pretty average. The Crab Benedict is excellent, and I would highly recommend that dish - excellently cooked and seasoned crab cake and a nice hollandaise, although the Perch potatoes it comes with are nothing to rave about. On my last visit I got one of the brunch specials, which was chilaquiles with steak. The tortillas were perfectly cooked, with just enough crunch left after simmering in the salsa. The fried eggs (sunny side up) were well cooked, and the runny yolk added a good creaminess to the dish. The steak was pretty good, but nothing too special. Overall it was an enjoyable dish. For me, the only thing holding Perch back from getting a 5-star is the consistency of quality considering the price. On one occasion I ordered my steak medium rare, but when I cut it open, it we completely brown with no pink to be seen. The server tried to push back and say that was the way it was supposed to be before taking it back and replacing it. On another occasion, a friend that was dining with my got the Smoked Salmon Benedict, but both of the poached eggs had yolks that were cooked completely solid rather than being runny. When the prices are as high as they are, you expect the food to meet a higher level of quality, consistently. But I still enjoy my visits to Perch, and it’s still more than deserving of a 4-star review!

Comment: Came here with a reservation for a group of 12 to celebrate a graduation. Prix fixe menu. Only seating was inside, which was a little tight but we made it work. Its right next to the bar, but that was fine. Lively atmosphere inside, but quieter and gorgeous views outside. Inside had large windows and an eclectic style. Food, I thought was excellent. Drinks were delicious. Only thing was parking, i guess I misunderstood. Parking across the street gets you $7 off your tab, not your parking ticket. There was much cheaper parking elsewhere. All in all, very nice place and excellent food and drinks. Will come again with girlfriends and sit outside.

Comment: Checked out their rooftop bar for the first time. The drinks were well made, delicious, and strong! Hats off to the bartenders, it was enjoyable to watch them make our drinks. The rooftop area is smaller than we anticipated but we arrived around 6pm and we we’re able to get enough seating for a group after making a swap with a couple who were nice enough to do so. The view of downtown was definitely a treat.

We were seated next to a fireplace that kept us nice and warm. Great service from Vanessa. I had the Shrimp Scampi, very flavourful and the assorted pastry and butter croissants were amazing and flaky.

Comment: First to start off. Perch has some of the best rooftop bar views in the city perfect combination with their Dress code (I suggest looking into it before you go) . Night lights are amazing. The drinks were made to perfection (old fashioneds). The waitresses were polite and gave great recommendations. All in all it was perfect. Best items are appetizer: pork belly. Entrée: Ribeye. Sangria needs longer steeping(it was a little watery), make croutons and don’t put artichoke in the Caesar (kiss method), more chips with tuna tartar. Refill drinks more often. If the wait between ordering and receiving food is a bit more extended; provide complementary herbed French bread and butter? Something to tide the hangry. Have more staff on deck.

The place is located rooftop and offers beautiful views of the L.A. skyline and a hybrid menu full brunch style options. Steak and fries, salmon and crab cake Benedict, chilaquiles topped with overeasy eggs and a ribeye on the side, those dishes were our selections. They have a beautiful throwback style bar that is serving up some expertly mixed drinks. We had vodka and soda with a splash of cran and a true Old Fashion. Comment: This was a fabulous reservation for a pre-celebration birthday occasion. Before stepping in the host had noticed my party and had a fantastic personality and was just funny and kind. Took us straight up to the elevator. Then you take a second elevator and give your reservation. Walk-ups are accepted as well. Waited a few minutes for seating. The food was delicious. Dress to impress when visiting required. The waiter took a while to get things moving but it just allowed me to take in the view. Everything was near perfect. They were very communicative and modified my reservation twice and the staff was pleasantly accommodating.

Comment: It was our 1rst time here, been wanting to go for awhile, heard many good things about it! But my initial experience was off putting! When I made the reservation, I had to put a $25 deposit (never heard of that before) and they had a bunch of rules such as both parties needed to order an entree, only 1 1/2 hours for our dining experience, dress code and only a 15 minute window to arrive at our reservation time (the later I understand) but the rest!?!So once we got there we had a wonderful experience! But I was apprehensive to say the least! The food was absolutely delicious! Drinks were fabulous and the service was top notch! I will go back again....Just be wary of all their Rules.

Our two main entrées included the filet mignon and steak frites with truffle — I’d rank these 10/10 for flavor and presentation. The steaks were cooked exactly to our liking. For dessert we ordered the bread pudding with ice cream on top. The issue that we had was that the waiter forgot two items, one, the side of brussels sprouts, and the other was the ice cream so we ended up having to request changes to these on two separate occasions. Otherwise, the service was good and attentive.The ambience was decent, but I expected upscale. In fact, multiple times the restaurant messaged prior to the reservation a dress code of “upscale” but when we arrived, this was definitely not the case. It seemed very casual with jeans and sneakers for some; which doesn’t matter to us but goes against what they messaged.

It was a hot day so I was worried about being too hot at the rooftop outside, but it was actually pretty shady with breezy fans on.We ended up splitting the French toast & the crab cake-eggs Benedict. AMAZING. The crab cake had more of a lemony crispy taste as opposed to tasting like ‘fish’ for breakfast. I dressed up with a nice pair of jeans, a silk dress shirt with a vest, and some boots, but I also saw folks wearing casual clothes.After taking two elevators to the rooftop, you are treated to a wonderful view of downtown LA’s skyscrapers.The food and service were great. I prefer dinner more so than brunch at any restaurant.I decided at the last minute to have brunch at Perch, so I missed out on the outdoor patio dining, which I always prefer. All the tables were already booked upon arrival. Book in advance for outside dining.It’s fine, we received a table inside and enjoyed our Father’s Day brunch. Afterwards, we went up to the rooftop to relax and enjoy the vibe.It was an absolutely beautiful clear day in LA. The sun was shining bright. Hardly any shaded spots on the rooftop, but we managed to get seats after a few people left.There’s a bar on the roof as well. I would have definitely preferred to have brunch on the rooftop, but only drinks are allowed.

The only way to park is valet. The cost for the valet is $13.Got to the 15th floor through 2 elevator rides. Once enter the restaurant, you can feel the energy of this place, lots of people and up beat music.Our waitress was so nice and friendly. Got us two appetizers, baked Brie and grilled octopus. Although small portion, the pastry Brie was amazing. Eaten with pickled onion, it was delicious. The octopus was equally good. All the veggies came with this dish truly elevated the flavor of the grilled octopus, highly recommended.Our main dishes consisted of braised short ribs and Chilean sea bass. The short rib was scrumptious and the meat was so tender. My Chilean sea bass was cooked so well and I enjoyed every bit of the fish. It was tender and flavorful. I had another sea bass the previous night in Newport Beach, it was like day and night compared to this one. Love the the way they cook it here. You can tell this restaurant really master the way to prepare this dish.After dinner, we went up to the rooftop bar. Unlike the photos shown on Yelp from the business, I didn’t see any stunning views of DTLA. There were too many people that packed the roof top bar and I was disappointed not being able to see the skyline of DTLA.

Decided to have with my meal the Belini and it was delicious. Our waitress was very kind and efficient. It is recommended to make reservations and you can do it easily on their site through open table. You need to leave a credit card number to reserve your spot. They called the day before to remind me and inform me of their Covid policies. The brunch menu had so many good options, I didnt know what to pick! Comment: Great place for an amazing dinner. Being in the 15th floor it provides an incredible view of the city. I took my mother for a birthday dinner and she loved it. She had the pan seared sea bass, which was out of this world, perfectly cooked and full of flavor. It came on a bed of red quinoa., quinoa tastes like quinoa, even coming a fancy restaurant. The risotto rice is a must try. The French pale ale they have is flavorful to say the least, sky high cocktail: bomb. Will definitely go back!

The location is convenient for me as well so coming in I was pretty excited especially since many people recommended it to me. It’s a really nice casual date spot in my opinion. It would also be nice for a dinner with friends but it is certainly more casual than some of the other rooftop restaurants close by. Our server was very polite and so was the rest of the staff that we encountered.I started off with a French Onion Soup, which is a personal favorite of mine and I get it all the time, and this one was pretty good. It was done in the traditional way which is always what I prefer. For my entrée I chose the Bouillabaisse which is another personal favorite of mine and being that I have been to Marseille and had it there where it was invented I have a really strong idea of how it should taste. This one was more of a hybrid and not the traditional style. It almost tasted more like a Cioppino but it was still pretty good. The broth was not as rich as I prefer but I know it takes at least 72 hours to really get a good Bouillabaisse stock so perhaps it was stewing for less than that.Overall I would recommend with some minor hesitations depending on the occasion. I will be back sometime in the future.

Comment: THE VIEWS! Definitely one of the best roof top restaurant and bar in DTLA. Great friendly service and the food is a bit expensive, but definitely worth it for the quality and atmosphere. Better when the weather is warmer, but they have heat lamps and even blankets (upon request and availability) for the cooler weather.The French Onion Soup and Mussles are great appetizers to start off with. I enjoyed both and they complemented each other very well, especially with the crispy crostini on the side.For entrées, the Bouef Bordeglaise and Loup de Mer were fantastic! Highly recommend both. The braised short rib was super tender and well cooked and same with the Loup de Mer with crispy skin on the fish and delicate flesh! Delish!!For dessert, you cant go wrong with the White Chocolate Bread Pudding. Made super well and was a hearty and comforting dish. Definitely recommend visiting here at least once when in DTLA. And do so with reservations!!

Our reservations were at 10:30 however I will share with you if you can go a little later that would have been a little better for me as the restaurant is a little more active.The food was good, pricing is great. We were here to celebrate a bachelorette and decided to go with a fixed menu - appetizers, entre and dessert. The French toast was delicious, the shrimp scampi was good and was a large portion (packed a take away box), but the burgers were ok. I wish the burgers were a bit more juicy and flavourful. The service was really good.

The bottom floor is for dinner service and has a live band that plays at certain times and we had the pleasure of experiencing it! The ambiance was amazing. The service was also great here and I could come back just for that. We all enjoyed our drinks and the food was pretty good also. I liked the octopus and Mac and cheese. Comment: Great dining experience! Came for brunch. I had the shrimp scampi, my bf and his son had burgers. All very tasty! We split a pitcher of sangria, but it was so full, it was very hard not to spill! The view is incredible, obviously. Our seating was wicker benches, which was fun and cozy, but at the same time was not the most comfortable. Be warned there is a dress code. My bf was told he could not come in wearing his flip flops. Not sure if the dress code forbids flip flops specifically, or if men can’t wear open-toed shoes at all. I wore nice sandals and saw many other women doing so, so not sure what rule was broken exactly. Point is, doesn’t hurt to arrive a little early to your reservation, in case you need to change shoes! The bathrooms could have been cleaner.All that being said, I’d come back for the view and good food.Also, highly recommend parking under Pershing Square.

The filet mignon and ahi tuna was very good. Their chocolate mousse dessert was to die for! Our waiter and the rest of the staff was wonderful. They were very attentive and they even remembered to put a little candle on my dessert for my birthday! It was a small gesture, but it really meant a lot 🥲. The view was nice, but I’ve seen better views from the Griffith observatory or Runyon canyon. Overall, it was a great experience and I highly recommend dining here. I will definitely be coming back.

Comment: Perch represents itself as fine dinning experience with the prices to prove it. All tables for for dinning are by reservations only. There is no walk-in list but only a cancellation list. If a guest cancels their reservation then walk-in guest would be able to take their place. However there is almost never no cancellations because guest prefer to not be charged the 25$ for canceling a reservation. The bar is meant for walk-in in guest. If it’s before 5:30 then all guest at the bar need to order something on the menu in order to stay. After 5:30 all guest are welcome at the bar with no need to order anything. The music is live and pleasant fitting for the atmosphere. Perch on their website says that the dress attire is upscale casual but it’s not true at all. All guest are welcome just as long as they have a shirt, pants and shoes. Be prepared to spend more than 50 dollars per person if you order a plate,drink, and “appetizer”. I would give this a 3.50 stars.

We all would give the place, the ambiance, the service and the food 5 stars. The view on the patio was amazing, great for a photo shoot, overlooking DTLA. All of our choices on the prefix menu were delicious (everyone ordered something different, so we could taste everything). The Perch did NOT disappoint. The burger, pasta, french toast all tasted very good. All of my girlfriends enjoyed their drinks. The Perch gave my girlfriend a special dessert for her birthday and we all had the chefs choice dessert(prefix menu), which was creme bruleé. Seatings are located per social distancing standards, which is very nice.For safety purposes, Perch LA takes their customers health and safety seriously: tables are socially distanced from one another, windows/doors are completely open to provide outdoor air circulation, temperature check even before entering the building and ensuring everyone to wear masks.Food was very good. We were permitted to stay for 1 hour and 45 mins which turned out perfect for our party that had 7:15 reservations.We valet parked. The entrance to the building is very secure. Only 4 people permitted in the elevator at a time. Jackie the hostess that evening was vibrant and delightful! Due to covid we weren’t allowed to bring a cake. Came with a friend at 11:30am on a Sunday for brunch and waited a bit but was taken to our table after a few minutes of hanging out by the hostess stand. The people were kind enough to direct us to where Perch is located as we went up the elevator. (Side note - press the bottom button when going up the elevator from the 13th to 15th floor since the top one is for the firemen).Service - Our waiter David was excellent. He was very warm and personable, and fun to chat with. He also made sure to keep coming by to check in on if we needed everything, kept our water glasses full, had our plates cleared promptly, and also anticipated our needs before we asked. He was definitely a hoot and is really good at his job.Food - We got some mimosas (it’s brunch - we had to) which were well-crated and the strawberry on the stick was sweet. My friend also got the cappuccino which she really enjoyed (very light and fluffy but not too sweet). We split the cheese truffle fries for an appetizer and that was certainly a highlight. The fries were so crispy despite being covered in a cheesy truffle sauce. When it came out, you could see how piping hot the dish was through the steam rising. I had the crab Benedict, which came with breakfast potatoes and was made of blue crab. I was pretty full after the fries so I boxed most of my food to take home afterwards. We ended the meal with the pot du creme - highly recommend getting this. I had to close my eyes when eating this - it was so delectable. It was very smooth, almost like a mousse, and contested with a smattering of coarse sea salt on the top. There were fresh berries that popped in your mouth that accompanied it, and it came in three dollops.Ambiance - Really pretty views of DTLA and a live band makes Perch a really classy place to have brunch. The weather was great (thanks LA) and when it got too sunny, they brought out shading to cover our eyes.Miscellaneous - valet parking is available for $13 cash, $14 card. You can also park at the garage across the street for $9. Bathrooms are available in the back and I’d recommend dressing nicely because this is a cute spot to take pics, although some people had athleisure on.Overall, so glad I came back to try Perch during the daytime.

Comment: Tonight was the night I finally got the chance to check out Perch. I came with a group of friends and glad I did. I recommend that if youre going to have a good time here, dont come alone. Ive been to some LA rooftop bars before but this place definitely beats them all. So of course its super packed on a Saturday night, however we got here before sundown and were able to at least find a spot outside in front of the live band. First, the drinks are phenomenal! Whether youre getting a beer or cocktail, its all top quality here. The customer service is top notch too. Very rarely have I experienced fantastic customer service but here you will have fantastic service. We were able to have a few off menu items suggested to us by the restaurant manager- a Mr. Alessandro Scalora. An amazing person with not only customer service skills but great overall hospitality. Moving on to the food, if youre not too hungry they have a great selection of sharable plates. If you want to have dinner, I HIGHLY recommend making reservations. The vibe is very chill and even though it gets packed you can still enjoy yourself with some very good live music. Lastly the restrooms are clean and have a rustic look to them. Overall I am definitely coming back.

If you sit at the right corner, you can see the sunset with sunlight shining through the buildings of LA. Its beautiful. I recommend to bring a jacket because it can get chilly up there. We had the steak frites and chicken supreme and the were both flavorful and delicious, but those fries with the steak were out of this world.

Comment: Great ambiance here...I loved being perched on the 15th floor! The food and service were also great. I had the poke appetizer followed by scallops. I recommend both again. The wifey had the filet which was cooked perfectly! We will be back the next time in LA

Comment: The views were amazing, wait staff was great, even got a free drink! Food was excellent and we ended up making friends with the table next to us. Loved the atmosphere. Thanks to Snapchats Discovery for the recommendation!
