Comment: I couldnt ask for a better result. I almost wanted to throw away my cabinets because Dunn-edwards completely messed up the paint.But San Diego painting and refinishing removed all the paint to the wood and refinish my cabinets. They looks like as if they were bought today, very smooth and flawless.Other than the quality, the speed and price were amazing and the employees are very helpful and professional.💯 recommended

Comment: Jose and his workers refinished my kitchen cabinets and front door which were all in very bad condition. Everything is now fresh and clean. Jose even painted the kitchen walls which was not part of the project. Very satisfied!

Comment: San Diego Painting and Refinishing did a fabulous job re-staining, painting, and constructing new cabinets in our kitchen. It was a big project, and they took the time to find the right color of stain. They paid great attention to detail and transformed our 25 year old cabinets to look new. Very happy with their work, highly recommend them and would hire again.

Comment: My 15 year old kitchen cabinets were in total disrepair due to the wear and tear of careless tenants. Additionally, unbeknownst to me, the cabinet trim was made out of particle board so many of the cabinet doors were totally unsalvageable. San Diego Painting and Refinishing provided beautiful, high quality door replacements and did a lovely job painting all of the cabinetry. They were professional, timely and communicative. My kitchen is absolutely beautiful - I am so happy with the results. I would highly recommend San Diego Painting and Refinishing to anyone in need of repairing and updating their kitchen!!

Comment: I spent a lot of time researching refinishing kitchen cabinets and had a difficult time finding a looking for a company that knew how to apply a 2k water based poly coating. It turned out that Jose and his crew used one of the coatings I wanted and detailed every step in their quote. Included in the quote was hanging the doors and installing the hardware which, in my case, turned out to be somewhat of a challenge. Jose didnt increase his price to cover the extra time it took to install the doors and finished the job without any loose ends.

Comment: Jose and Vincente did an excellent job. I would use them again in a heartbeat. My 15 year-old cabinets were in desperate need of repainting and repair of some of the cabinet boxes. From start to finish this was a stress-free experience. The bid process was easy, the timeline was exactly as he committed and the work was professional. They sealed off the entire kitchen and paid attention to every detail. The cabinets look brand new and the repair work was well-done. The special paint he uses and the process they go through to sand and prep gives me every confidence this will last. Jose also installed soft close hinges for me. The work was worth every penny and I highly recommend Jose and team.

Comment: My old cabinets look like new! I couldn’t be more pleased. New and better hinges help the doors close smoothly and quietly. This company did such a fine job that the professionals I hired to paint my home expressed admiration and asked who did the work. The knobs and handles hadn’t arrived upon completion of cabinet painting. Even though I had paid the bill in full Jose came back afterwards and installed. I love their work. Would recommend with no reservation.

Comment: We needed to refinish kitchen cabinets in our home in La Jolla. I wanted a quality job, that would make the cabinets look new instead of tired and yellow stained after so many years. San Diego Painting & Refinishing worked for 4 days sanding, spray painting, and installing new hardware and fitting our cabinets (many were misaligned after so many years), and the pictures I posted dont even tell the whole story. Jose , the owner uses a special paint called Renner Italian Coatings that produces a beautiful and durable sheen. I highly recommend this company for any cabinet refinishing and painting work.

Comment: I had thermafoil coated cabinets which were peeling and looked terrible. After obtaining a few quotes I selected Jose at San Diego Painting & Refinishing. I am so happy I chose them. We decided on refacing and new drawers and doors install and they look amazing! I was impressed because not only were they personable but they were also on time every day, took great care to protect all of my surfaces and belongings and cleaned up each day before leaving. Jose and his partner completed the job in five days and provided quiet. courteous, efficient, and exceptionally beautiful results in converting my wood-stained cabinets to white. My husband remarked, “These cabinets were not painted; I think they installed brand new cabinets.” A friend remarked, “The wood looks like new white paneling!” The company sanded all cabinets down to the original wood, applied primer, and did the refinishing coat. They protected my floors, countertops, and kitchen contents. They took off the cabinet doors and refinished them at their shop: then they brought them back and re-installed them. Comment: We needed some repairs done to our kitchen cabinets, and we got new doors and drawer boxes as well. Jose was extremely professional, updated all the hinges and and drawer slides, and worked hard so we were only without our kitchen for 3 days. He also installed paneling and new corbels along our peninsula. I had a custom paint color I wanted and he was able to get it matched exactly. I also requested for the new doors to be bigger than the existing ones, and he was able to measure for those quickly. Super efficient and our kitchen looks completely different and updated. Would 100% recommend.

Comment: Jose and his team were great! They painted our cabinets. He did a virtual estimate by getting pictures and measurements from me. The online payment system was clear and easy to use, and the estimate was very detailed. I was impressed with the attention to detail in sanding, priming, and sanding in between coats. It took a day longer than we were hoping, but he didnt want to rush the job, he wanted to do it right. They also changed out our hinges to new soft-close hinges. In my research, many companies wont touch the hinges. It makes my kitchen really look and feel modern.

Comment: From my first conversation to our “good bye “, Jose was professional and polite. His communication was very clear and precise, both verbally and electronically. He outlined the entire process and was spot on. Receipts were received immediately via e-mail. His original bid was exactly the same as the final price, even though I added a last minute project! Jose and Vicente kept everything very neat and tidy, not a speck of dust anywhere. Most importantly, my “Very Sad” 30 year old cabinets are absolute BEAUTIFUL!
